The 1568 hi-vis trousers from Blåkläder are built for craftsmen, drivers, and road and construction workers who need to be seen on site while wearing trousers that can keep up with a hard day's work. They combine high-visibility colour with a well thought-out pocket setup designed for everyday tool use, from the rule pocket with knife holder to the extra-wide, angled tool pockets with plenty of compartments.
The outer fabric, a 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill weave, is water-repellent and comes in at a light 240g/m² without giving up abrasion resistance. CORDURA® reinforcement at the knees means the trousers hold up to frequent kneeling on rough ground, and the same goes for the reinforced tool and rear pockets, which protect the areas that take the most punishment. The knee pad pockets fit all Blåkläder knee pads, so extra knee protection can be added whenever the job calls for it.
The trousers meet the EN ISO 20471 Class 2 standard for high-visibility clothing, meaning they keep the wearer visible in daylight and in vehicle headlights, backed up by 70mm wide reflective tape running around the legs. Orange versions in Class 2 and 3 additionally meet the British RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 standard, relevant for work near railway tracks. The fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified and carries the OEKO-TEX MADE IN GREEN label.
Thanks to their tough construction and versatile pocket layout, these trousers suit road building, civil engineering, and construction sites, or anywhere visibility on the road matters alongside practical storage for tools. They are available in both men's and women's sizing, and C-sizes can be extended to C100 sizes.
