The Blaklader high-vis shorts are built for tradesmen, drivers, and road and construction workers who need visibility and freedom of movement on warm days. Stretch panels at the front, back, crotch and seat let the shorts move with the wearer when crouching or climbing, while the elasticated waist adds extra comfort during long shifts.
The fabric is a 240 g/m² twill weave of 65% polyester and 35% cotton with a water-repellent finish, giving the shorts a hard-wearing feel that still stays light on site. Reinforced stitching at the crotch and CORDURA® reinforcements on the seat pockets and rule pocket hold up where tools and movement put the most strain on the fabric. A generous set of pockets, including a leg pocket with phone compartment and ID pocket plus a reinforced rule pocket with knife holder and pen slot, keeps everyday gear organised and within reach.
As certified high-visibility workwear, the shorts meet EN ISO 20471 class 1, certification group V. The 50 mm reflective tape runs around both legs, helping drivers and machine operators spot the wearer earlier on site, even though the shorter leg length naturally offers less coverage than a full-length hi-vis trouser. That combination makes the shorts a practical choice for road work, construction sites, transport jobs and any outdoor role where visibility matters in warmer conditions.
