Product information "teXXor Welder Gloves TAUPO"
The teXXor® TAUPO welding gloves are built for anyone who needs dependable hand protection during welding and deburring work or other heavy-duty tasks. The 5-finger design gives noticeably more freedom of movement and a better grip than a traditional mitten, without sacrificing toughness on the job.
The gloves combine full-grain cowhide leather on the palm and back of the hand with cowhide split leather on the cuff, at a leather thickness of 1.0-1.2 mm. That combination delivers a comfortable feel on the hand while standing up well to heat and everyday mechanical wear. At around 35 cm in total length, with an extra-long 15 cm cuff, the glove extends well past the wrist to shield the pulse point and forearm from sparks and heat.
Certified to EN 12477:2001+A1:2005 for welding gloves, EN 388:2016 for mechanical risks, EN 407:2004 for thermal risks, and EN 420:2003+A1:2009 for general requirements for protective gloves, the TAUPO meets the standards of PPE Category II. In practical terms, that means reliable protection against cuts, abrasion, and heat exposure wherever hot or sharp-edged materials are handled.
This makes the TAUPO a solid choice for welding and deburring work as well as general heavy-duty tasks in construction, the automotive industry and its suppliers, metalworking and mechanical engineering, locksmith shops and workshops, service stations, and glass manufacturing.
