The teXXor® SANTORIN welding gloves feature a practical 3-finger design that allows more freedom of movement than classic mitts, without compromising on the protection of a rugged glove. They suit anyone looking for a dependable, dexterous hand protection solution for welding, deburring or other heavy-duty tasks.
Made from cowhide/split leather with a material thickness of around 0.9 to 1.1 mm, these gloves are tough and durable while still feeling comfortable to wear. Being unlined, they offer a close, direct feel and good dexterity on the job, while the sturdy leather holds up well under rough use. With a glove length of roughly 34 cm, the extra-long cuff extends well beyond the wrist, giving reliable protection to the pulse and forearm area against sparks and heat.
The SANTORIN meets EN 12477 for welding gloves, EN 388 for mechanical risks, EN 407 for heat and flame, and the general glove standard EN 420. This places it in PPE category II, offering solid protection against mechanical stress and heat exposure typical of welding and cutting work.
These gloves are used across trades and construction, the automotive industry and its suppliers, metalworking and mechanical engineering, locksmiths and workshops, as well as petrol stations, truck stops and glass manufacturing for general heavy-duty tasks.
