The teXXor® ARGON II welding gloves are built for anyone needing dependable hand protection during welding and deburring work or other demanding manual tasks. The 5-finger design gives noticeably more freedom of movement and a firmer grip than traditional mitts, without sacrificing toughness. An extra-long cuff shields the wrist area from sparks and heat, a detail that makes a real difference during longer welding jobs.
The gloves are made from goat/sheep nappa leather with a material thickness of approximately 0.7-0.8 mm, striking a comfortable balance between a pleasant feel on the hand and the durability needed for daily use in workshops or production environments. The wing thumb design supports natural hand movement, which becomes especially noticeable during more precise tasks. At a length of around 35 cm (size 10), the glove offers protection well beyond the wrist.
On the protection side, the ARGON II covers several key areas: EN 12477 confirms its suitability as a welding protective glove, EN 388 indicates protection against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, and punctures, and EN 407 confirms the material's heat resistance. EN 420 sets out the general requirements for protective gloves, including fit and handling. As Category II PPE, the glove is designed for tasks involving a medium level of risk.
