The Argos winter softshell jacket is a padded outdoor jacket built for anyone who works outside in cold, wet conditions. Its combination of a sturdy softshell shell and a removable inner lining means it can be worn as a lighter jacket in mild weather or as a fully insulated jacket in winter, making it useful across most of the year.
The outer shell is made from a 3-layer laminate of 100% polyester that feels sturdy and hard-wearing in daily use. The removable quilted lining with a fleece inner side and ribbed cuffs adds a warm, comfortable feel and can be taken out when it is not needed, for example to make the jacket lighter or to attach a company logo more easily. The YKK front zip with storm flap, the adjustable hem, and the adjustable, detachable hood let the jacket be adapted to the weather and to personal preference.
Thanks to the 3-layer laminate, the fabric is windproof and waterproof while still being breathable, with a water column of 5,000 mm and breathability of 1,000 g/m²/24h. In practical terms, this keeps out wind and rain while letting moisture escape from the inside, so it does not feel stuffy underneath. Reflective piping on the front and back also improves visibility in low light and darkness.
With two zipped hip pockets, two zipped chest pockets and an inner pocket in the lining, the jacket offers plenty of storage for tools, a phone or paperwork, making it well suited to construction sites, warehouses, landscaping and other outdoor trades. The jacket comes in sizes S to 3XL and is supplied in packs of 5, which also makes it a practical choice for equipping whole teams.
