The Uranos softshell jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in changing weather who needs freedom of movement along with reliable protection against wind and moisture. With its detachable storm hood featuring face protection and a well thought-out closure system, it suits construction sites as well as any other outdoor profession.
The outer fabric is a 3-layer laminate with a high polyester content and an elastane addition that keeps the jacket flexible. Inside, a fleece lining gives a comfortable feel against the skin, while the 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation keeps the wearer warm in cold conditions without adding bulk. The elaborate inner construction, waterproof zippers and an elasticated drawcord hem translate into everyday comfort even during long wear: the cuffs can be individually widened using hook-and-loop fastening, and the chin guard at the end of the zipper prevents chafing.
Thanks to the 3-layer laminate, the jacket is wind- and waterproof while still remaining breathable, letting moisture escape from the inside without rain getting in from outside. The 8,000 mm water column provides reliable protection even in sustained rain, while the breathability rating of 800 g/m²/24h keeps the body dry during physical work.
With reflective piping on the back and along the front zipper, the jacket also improves visibility in low light. It is therefore well suited to tradespeople, warehouse staff, construction workers and anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who values functional, well-made workwear.
