The Gamma softshell jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who needs freedom of movement without giving up protection from the elements. The outer fabric is a 3-layer laminate with a high polyester content and a touch of elastane, giving the jacket the kind of stretch that moves with you during physical work. The hem and cuffs are made from durable Oxford fabric, built to withstand extra wear at these high-friction points, while the fleece lining inside keeps the feel against the skin comfortable. Thoughtful interior construction and a generous set of pockets – a zipped chest pocket, additional zipped access pockets on the chest, two zipped hip pockets, and several inner pockets – keep the jacket practical for daily use and small items secure.
The combination of the 3-layer laminate and waterproof zips makes the jacket both windproof and waterproof, with a water column rating of 8,000mm that holds up against sustained rain.
