This winter overall from Blaklader is designed for anyone who works outdoors in wind, rain and cold, from tradesmen and drivers to fishermen and warehouse staff. It combines rugged weather protection with the freedom of movement a one-piece garment needs to deliver, backed up by a detachable hood with mesh lining and a generous set of pockets, including knee pad pockets and a chest pocket with a water-repellent zip.
The outer fabric is coated Oxford polyester, waterproof up to 15,000 mm and fully windproof. All seams are taped, so moisture cannot creep in through the stitching. Despite this dense construction the fabric stays breathable, helped along by extra ventilation under the arms that stops sweat building up during physical work. The mesh lining keeps the overall comfortable to wear and easy to get in and out of, while adjustable leg openings with hook-and-loop fastening and elasticated cuffs keep everything in place as you move.
Tested to EN 343 class 4,4, the overall meets defined standards for both water penetration resistance and breathability, giving reliable protection against rain, wind and cold on site. The knee areas are designed to take knee pads and are certified to EN 14404-3 together with pads 4027, 4032, 4057 and 4058, adding extra protection when kneeling.
