This coverall from Blaklader is designed for painters and other tradespeople who spend their day bending, reaching and kneeling without wanting their workwear to get in the way. Instead of a classic bib overall, it comes as a full coverall with a purpose-built ruler pocket for scrapers, putty knives and brushes, plus a large chest pocket and detachable hanging pockets, so tools stay exactly where they're needed when painting or wallpapering.
The fabric is a soft 4-way stretch made from 94% polyester and 6% elastane at 320 g/m², flexing in every direction. In practice that means the material moves with you rather than restricting you when working overhead or crouching down. The knees, rear pockets, hanging pockets and lower hem are reinforced with CORDURA®, a tough fabric that holds up far longer against abrasion and localised wear than plain stretch material alone. The knee pad pockets add CORDURA® stretch on top, so they flex when kneeling instead of wearing through. Adjustable elasticated braces and extendable leg ends let you fit the coverall to your own height.
Construction details such as the plastic zip at the crotch, the metal-free buckle and the double-stitched crotch seam are built for sustained daily use. Reflective details on the leg improve visibility on the job. The coverall is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning the material has been tested for harmful substances – a real plus for a garment worn close to the skin.
