This flame-resistant welding overall from Blaklader is built for tradespeople and welders working in environments with welding and grinding tasks. The high-vis details in navy blue/high vis yellow add extra visibility, while the well-thought-out fit with an adjustable elastic waistband, pre-shaped sleeves and snap-button cuffs keeps you comfortable through long shifts.
The fabric blend of 79% cotton, 20% polyester and 1% antistatic fibre gives a sturdy, flame-retardant material at 390 g/m², approved for the higher welding class 2. The water- and dirt-repellent outer surface keeps the overall easier to maintain even under heavy use, and it is also approved for industrial laundering. A range of pockets, including a bellows leg pocket, chest pockets, hand pockets, a reinforced ruler pocket and external knee pockets, make it a genuinely practical choice for daily tool use.
On the protection side, the overall covers considerable ground: EN ISO 11612 protects against heat and flames, EN ISO 11611 specifically covers welding and related processes, EN 1149 guards against electrostatic build-up, EN 61482-2 protects against thermal hazards from electric arc exposure, and EN 13034 shields against splashes of liquid chemicals. EN 14404 also certifies protection for kneeling work. The overall is PFAS-free and tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
This makes the welding overall a strong fit for welders, metalworkers and tradespeople operating in industrial settings with elevated risks from fire, arc flash and chemical exposure, where dependable, long-lasting gear matters.
