The TFASC gown from the Tychem 6000 range is a calf-length disposable protective gown designed for settings where dependable barrier protection matters, from industrial workplaces to laboratories and anywhere biological hazards are part of the job. The hook-and-loop closures at the neck and waist ties allow a secure, adjustable fit that can be put on and taken off quickly without fumbling with ties or knots.
The gown is made from a polyethylene spunbond nonwoven with a barrier film, giving it a construction that is lightweight to wear yet resistant to penetration. Taped seams close off potential weak points in the material, keeping the whole garment consistently protective, while elasticated cuffs keep sleeves in place and help stop contamination from creeping in at the wrists. The antistatic finish also makes the gown suitable for use in environments sensitive to static discharge.
Tested to EN 14126, the gown is classified as PSA Category III, Type 3B, meaning it offers protection against pressurised liquid splashes and liquid biological agents when worn as intended. That makes the TFASC a practical choice wherever workers may come into contact with bodily fluids, contaminated surfaces or biological agents, such as in cleaning and waste handling, medical settings or animal care.
