The Hi-Vis Regenhose Extreme from the Portwest range is built for anyone who needs dependable protection in wind and rain without sacrificing comfort. As a premium garment, it suits outdoor professionals who also need to stay clearly visible, such as road workers, rail industry staff or emergency personnel.
The 3-layer waterproof fabric with a soft-touch finish keeps the trousers feeling light and comfortable despite their protective performance, avoiding the stiff or clammy feel of lesser rainwear. Taped seams stop water getting in at the stitch lines, while the water-repellent finish makes moisture simply bead off the surface. Double stitching adds extra durability, and the fully elasticated waistband with drawcord gives a comfortable, adjustable fit. A side leg zip makes it easy to put the trousers on and take them off, even over safety boots, and the two roomy pass-through pockets plus easily accessible stow pockets provide storage for small items.
The trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471, including after 50 wash cycles, so the visibility performance of the reflective tape and hi-vis fabric holds up over time. They are also CE certified, and the orange colourway meets RIS 3279-TOM, the standard specific to the rail industry.
