The S488 Contrast Rain Bib Trousers are designed for anyone working outdoors in wet, changeable weather who needs to stay dry without sacrificing visibility. They protect the lower body and chest from moisture and belong to the 300D collection of breathable hi-vis workwear, which shows in how the garment balances waterproofing with all-day wearability.
The fabric carries a PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco finish, so water simply beads off the surface instead of soaking in, and taped seams stop moisture getting through at the stitch lines. At the same time the material stays breathable and windproof, helping to limit heat build-up during physical work. Adjustable braces, a popper-adjustable hem and an adjustable side opening keep the fit secure even when moving around, while seven pockets, including a double rule pocket and a phone pocket, give you plenty of room for tools and small items.
The trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471, and notably remain compliant after 50 washes, so the visibility performance holds up over long-term use. Reflective tape improves visibility in low light, and the contrast panelling is designed to help mask visible dirt. CE certification and UKCA marking complete the specification.
This makes the bib trousers well suited to road and civil engineering work, logistics or general building sites, wherever wet conditions, cold and poor visibility are part of the daily routine. Available in three colourways and sizes from XS to 4XL, they can be fitted to almost any workforce.
