The EV4 Hi-Vis Expedition Trousers are built for people working outdoors in severe cold and wet conditions who also need to stay clearly visible. With their insulated lining and weatherproof shell, they are designed for harsh winter regions and exposed job sites, not just the occasional shower.
The outer fabric is breathable, windproof and stretches enough to keep you moving freely despite the warmth it provides. Taped seams and the PFAS-free Texpel Splash Eco finish keep water beading off the surface rather than soaking in. The InsulatexPro lining delivers serious warmth without adding bulk or weight. Laser-cut vents and mesh panels at the knees release excess heat and moisture during physical work, while CorePro Armour reinforcement and abrasion-resistant knees hold up to kneeling and rough handling on site.
Two certifications matter most here. EN342 confirms cold protection down to -50°C, making these trousers suitable for extreme winter conditions such as winter road maintenance, offshore work or arctic sites. EN ISO 20471, tested after 25 washes, confirms that the reflective tape and hi-vis colour keep doing their job wash after wash, essential wherever visibility on roads or construction sites is a safety factor.
Adjustable waist tabs, an ankle zip for easy on/off over boots, and six pockets for tools and personal items make these trousers practical for long outdoor shifts, whether in civil engineering, forestry or winter emergency response work.
