The S480 Hi-Vis Rain Traffic Trousers are built for anyone who needs to stay dry and visible in wind and rain, whether directing traffic or working on site. An elasticated waistband and adjustable leg hems keep the fit comfortable and secure during long shifts, without restricting movement.
The fabric is fully waterproof with taped seams, so water can't get in at the seams even in heavy rain. The PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco finish makes the surface highly water-repellent, so rain beads off rather than soaking in, keeping the trousers lighter to wear even after prolonged exposure. The hem can be secured with a press-stud for a snug fit, while the two side pockets stay accessible at all times.
For outdoor work, UV protection matters too: the fabric carries a 40+ UPF rating and blocks 98% of UV rays. Visibility is certified to EN ISO 20471, tested after 50 washes, meaning the reflective stripes and hi-vis colour retain their protective performance over extended use. The trousers are CE certified and UKCA marked.
This makes the S480 a strong choice for traffic control, road works and other outdoor roles where rain, low visibility and UV exposure all come into play. Available in orange and yellow, in sizes from XS to 6XL.
