The PS80 is a safety helmet with a built-in visor that slides back into the shell when not needed, keeping it securely stored and always within reach. This makes it a practical choice for anyone who switches between tasks requiring face protection and those that don't, without having to carry or misplace a separate visor.
The shell is ventilated, allowing air to circulate and creating a noticeable cooling effect during extended wear or physical work. Inside, an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner adds comfort while also contributing to the helmet's protective performance. The visor itself is made from injection-moulded polycarbonate, a material chosen for its high mechanical resistance. A rotating dial allows the helmet to be adjusted precisely to the wearer's head size, and two chin strap options let users adapt the fit to the task at hand.
The PS80 carries dual certification to EN 397 and EN 12492. EN 397 is the standard for industrial safety helmets, covering protection against falling objects among other hazards, while EN 12492 applies specifically to helmets used in mountaineering and climbing, also accounting for lateral deformation. Together, these certifications make the helmet suitable for a wide range of applications, from general site work to tasks involving fall risk. Its high-visibility orange colour further improves daytime visibility.
