Product information "Women's Multinorm Jacket Inherent"
This multinorm jacket is designed for women working in roles where several hazards can occur at once: welding, heat and flame exposure, electrostatic build-up, arc flash, chemical splashes and poor visibility. It has been developed specifically for use in ATEX-classified environments, making it suitable for workplaces where a single protective feature simply isn't enough. The pre-shaped sleeves, extended back and adjustable hem are built for freedom of movement on the job, while the well-thought-out pocket layout keeps tools and measuring devices within easy reach.
The fabric is a blend of FR polyester, modacrylic, cotton and an antistatic fibre component, with a weight of 315 g/m². The flame-resistant property is inherent, meaning it's built into the fibre structure itself rather than applied as a coating, so it doesn't wash or wear out over time. The jacket is robust yet pleasantly light to wear, and its surface is water- and dirt-repellent. It's PFAS-free and approved for industrial laundering at 60 °C, which makes it practical for regular use in a commercial laundry cycle.
On the protection side, the jacket covers a wide range of risks: EN ISO 11611 confirms protection for welding and related processes, while EN ISO 11612 covers protection against heat and flame. EN 1149 provides electrostatic discharge protection, EN 61482-2 protects against the effects of an arc flash, and EN 13034 offers limited protection against contact with liquid chemicals. On top of that, the jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 2 for high visibility, keeping the wearer clearly visible even in poor light. The metal-free fasteners and press studs are a deliberate choice, avoiding extra risk in spark-sensitive environments.
That combination makes the jacket a fit for tradeswomen, electricians, road and construction workers, service staff, and women working in the oil and gas sector, where multiple hazards can be present at the same time. The style is also available as a men's version under item number 40891524.
