This winter parka is cut specifically for women and designed for tradeswomen, road workers and construction workers who spend cold, wet and windy days outdoors. Pre-shaped sleeves and a two-way zip keep the jacket comfortable during overhead tasks or bending, while the adjustable waist with a rear drawcord lets you tailor the fit to your body.
The shell is made from coated polyester in a twill weave with added stretch, waterproof to 11,000 mm and windproof, yet it stays breathable thanks to a Ret value of 6.3 – meaning body moisture can escape while rain and wind stay out. Taped seams add further protection against water getting in at the stitching. The quilted lining works together with the warm insulated lining to keep you warm in cold conditions, while the mesh lining and mesh panels at the armholes and shoulder blades help with air circulation. Darker colour panels in areas prone to dirt help the jacket stay looking clean for longer. Practical touches like the recessed ID pocket, the internal iPad pocket and the fleece-lined hand pockets make the parka pleasant to use throughout a working day.
The jacket meets several standards relevant to outdoor work: EN 343 confirms protection against rain and water penetration from outside, while EN 342 covers protection against cold. Under EN ISO 20471 the jacket is certified as high visibility clothing, with the class depending on size – smaller sizes meet class 2, while size M and above meet class 3, improving visibility in low light or near traffic. The 50 mm wide reflective strips further support this visibility. Orange versions also meet the RIS-3279-TOM railway standard.
