This cut-resistant glove from Blaklader is made for anyone working outdoors who needs both a secure feel and real protection. Roofers, installers, sheet metal workers and mechanics get a super-thin, flexible glove that stays waterproof despite its slim build and reliably guards against cuts, making it just as suited to precision tasks as to general all-round work on site or in the workshop.
The palm side is knitted from an 18-gauge blend of HPPE, polyester, polyamide, glass fibre and elastane, thin enough to preserve fine motor control and touch sensitivity while still delivering the strength needed for cut protection. The palm carries a full, double layer of sandy-textured nitrile coating, a structure that keeps grip secure whether hands are dry, wet or covered in oil, while also making the glove liquid-resistant. Being unlined, it stays slim and comfortable even during extended wear. Chrome-free and free of metal fibres, it is also a sound choice for users with sensitive skin.
Tested to EN 388 with a 4X41B rating, the glove reaches cut protection level B, offering solid baseline defence against cuts for the kind of everyday tasks common in trade work. Certification to EN ISO 21420 confirms it meets the basic requirements for gloves as personal protective equipment, classified under PSA category 2. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 further confirms that the materials used have been tested for harmful substances.
