This cut-resistant glove from Blaklader is designed for anyone who needs fine motor control on the job without giving up protection against cuts. It's deliberately thin, yet still robust, and offers a fit close enough to feel like a second skin. Whether the task calls for precision work or heavier handling, there's no need to take the glove off in between – cut protection stays in place throughout.
The inner material combines HPPE, polyester, polyamide, glass fibre and elastane in an 18 gauge knit, which gives the glove a fine texture and a genuinely comfortable feel on the hand. The palm is dip-coated in foamed nitrile with a smooth micro-foam surface, providing secure grip even in dirty or oily conditions, while the micro-porous coating still lets the hand breathe. A reinforced thumb crotch adds extra durability exactly where assembly and metalwork put the most strain on the glove. Being unlined, it also stays flexible and easy to move in.
Tested to EN 388 with a rating of 4X42B, the glove achieves cut protection level B, suitable for tasks with an elevated risk of cuts while keeping the hand's mobility intact. As PPE category 2, it's built to guard against mechanical risks of a medium level. The material is also free from chromium and metal fibres and certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, which matters for users with sensitive skin.
