The D Touch cut-resistant glove from Blaklader is built for anyone who needs cut protection without giving up dexterity. It's aimed at tradespeople and sheet metal workers who handle precision tasks in dirty or oily environments, such as metalwork and assembly jobs. With touch function across the fingers, thumb and palm, phones and touchscreens stay usable without taking the glove off.
The palm is coated in a nitrile microfoam that provides secure grip even around oil and dirt, while staying microporous enough to let the hand breathe underneath. The outer side is deliberately airy, keeping the glove thin and flexible despite its cut protection – a real advantage for work that demands fine finger control. Reinforcement at the thumb crotch adds durability exactly where everyday wear hits hardest. The glove is unlined, and free from metal and glass fibre content as well as chromium.
It's tested to EN 388 (4X42D), covering resistance to abrasion, cut, tear and puncture, and to EN 407 X1XXXX for contact heat level 1. The cut protection rating is Level D, giving solid protection against cuts without restricting hand movement. EN ISO 21420 confirms it meets the general requirements for protective gloves, and the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label certifies the textile has been tested for harmful substances.
This makes the glove well suited to all-round trade work, metal processing, assembly tasks and any job where precision and cut protection need to go hand in hand.
