The F Touch cut-resistant glove from Blaklader is designed for tradespeople who need the highest possible cut protection without giving up dexterity, whether working in metal fabrication, assembly or other demanding trades. Its thin, flexible construction combined with touch functionality on the fingers, thumb and palm means smartphones and touchscreens can be operated without removing the glove, a practical advantage for craftsmen and sheet metal workers alike.
The palm is coated with a sandy-textured nitrile finish that provides a reliable grip in dirty or oily conditions, while its microporous structure still lets the hand breathe. The airy outer material adds to all-day wearing comfort, and the 15-gauge liner made from HPPE, steel fibre, glass fibre, polyamide and elastane delivers the strength behind the thin profile. Being unlined keeps the glove slim and close-fitting, further supporting fine motor control, and the nitrile coating itself is chrome-free.
In terms of protection, the glove reaches cut level F under EN 388, the highest cut resistance rating within that standard, and is also certified to EN 407 for contact heat at class X1XXXX, meaning it withstands brief contact with hot surfaces. It meets the general requirements for protective gloves under EN ISO 21420 and is classified as PPE category 2. Certification to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 further confirms that the material has been tested for harmful substances.
