The inba Cooling Helmet Neck Shield is built for anyone working under a helmet in strong sun and high temperatures. It wraps around the neck and ears, fits most helmet types, and is designed to keep heat stress from becoming a problem in the first place. The new model is lightweight and quick to put on, without compromising on fit.
This is thanks to a breathable fabric that keeps the body warm, cool and dry depending on what the moment calls for. An elastic band allows easy adjustment to different head and neck shapes, while the rubberised coating keeps the neck shield firmly in place even during movement. A front button placket makes putting it on and taking it off even easier, so the helmet doesn't need to come off every time.
For sun protection, the fabric has been tested to EN13758-1:2001+A1:2006 and achieves a UPF rating of 40+. That means reliable protection against UV radiation for the neck and ears, an area that's easy to overlook when working outdoors. Combined with the fabric's cooling effect, the Cooling Helmet Neck Shield is a practical piece of kit for anyone regularly working under a helmet in summer, from construction sites to road works.
