The Nitras TAEKI arm guard protects forearms and wrists in situations where gloves alone are not enough. At a length of 45 cm it covers a wide area of the arm and is suited to any task where sharp edges, swarf or hot surfaces pose a risk to the skin. Its V-shaped design allows it to sit comfortably over workwear without slipping, while still leaving full freedom of movement.
The arm guard is made from the special TAEKI yarn, a blend of HPPE, polyester, glass fibre and elastane. This combination makes it both durable and comfortable to wear, as the elastane content provides elasticity and makes it easy to put on. Despite offering a very high level of cut protection, it stays light on the arm, which makes a noticeable difference during longer shifts.
The arm guard delivers very high cut resistance and also protects against contact heat up to 100°C for 15 seconds. This makes it a practical addition to personal protective equipment for work involving sharp tools and materials, as well as for situations where brief contact with hot surfaces is possible. As PPE category II, it meets the requirements for equipment protecting against medium-level risks.
