The NITRAS TAEKI arm guard protects forearms and wrists in situations where hand protection alone isn't enough. At 45 cm long, it covers the entire arm well past the wrist, making it a practical choice for anyone handling sharp-edged workpieces, sheet metal, or glass. A thumb hole keeps the guard securely in place during movement, so it won't slide down mid-task.
Made from the specialised TAEKI yarn, a blend of HPPE, polyester, glass fibre and elastane, the arm guard combines very high cut resistance with genuine wearing comfort. This fibre combination keeps the material tough yet flexible enough to follow the shape of the arm without restricting movement or feeling stiff. The bright yellow colour also keeps it clearly visible, a useful bonus in busy or cluttered work environments.
Beyond its very high level of cut protection, the arm guard also shields against brief contact heat of up to 100°C for 15 seconds, cushioning short contact with hot surfaces or workpieces before it reaches the skin. Classified as PSA risk category II, it's built for tasks with a moderate hazard level, such as metalworking or glass handling, and anywhere cut and heat risks are part of the daily routine.
