The Nitras arm guard protects forearms and wrists in situations where gloves alone are not enough. At 30 cm long, it covers a generous area of the arm and is designed for tasks involving sharp-edged or hot workpieces that pose a risk to unprotected skin. Its yellow colour also improves visibility on the job.
Made from TAEKI special yarn, a blend of HPPE, polyester, glass fibre and elastane, the arm guard combines strong protective performance with genuine wearing comfort. The elastic construction lets the material sit close to the arm without restricting movement, so it stays comfortable even during extended wear. The durable yarn keeps its shape and holds up well to repeated use in demanding work environments.
The arm guard offers very high cut resistance along with protection against contact heat of up to 100°C for 15 seconds. In practical terms, it guards against cuts from sharp edges or blades while also cushioning brief contact with hot surfaces before the heat can reach the skin. Classified as PSA risk category II, it is built for working environments with a moderate level of hazard where both cutting and heat risks can occur.
This makes the arm guard well suited to metalworking, glass cutting, sheet metal processing, and any other tasks involving sharp tools or hot materials.
