The Tegel protective coverall is a disposable overall designed for tasks where airborne particles, splashes, or static build-up pose a risk. It is aimed at industrial and trade professionals who need a dependable yet straightforward solution for short-term protective work, and it comes in packs of 50, making it practical for businesses with regular demand.
The outer material is a three-layer SMS polypropylene fabric. This construction keeps the suit breathable and air-permeable despite its protective function, a difference that becomes noticeable during longer wear. The three-piece hood with elasticated edge, plus elastic at the wrists, ankles and waist, along with the two-way zip and its covering flap, ensure a secure fit and make the suit easy to put on and take off without compromising the protective barrier.
In terms of protection, the coverall is certified PSA category 3, type 5/6. This means particle-tight protection to EN ISO 13982-1, guarding against airborne solid particles, and limited splash-tight protection to EN 13034 against liquid splashes. The fabric is also treated to be antistatic under EN 1149-5, which matters in environments with combustible dusts or vapours, where static discharge can pose an ignition risk.
