The Karow protective coverall is a disposable full-body suit designed for tasks where particles, splashes or biological hazards could come into contact with clothing. It suits industrial, trade and laboratory users who need a dependable, straightforward whole-body protection solution for short-term jobs. The three-piece hood, elasticated cuffs at arms, legs and waist, and the gusseted leg design allow the suit to move with the wearer and stay in place even during extended use.
The outer fabric, a polypropylene with microporous PE lamination, weighs only around 45 g/m², giving the suit a notably light feel without compromising on protection. This material combination allows some air and moisture vapour to pass through, keeping the wearing experience manageable over longer periods, while still standing up to everyday mechanical wear on site. The one-way zip with a protective flap further prevents particles or liquids from getting in through the fastening.
The suit meets several protection standards, each covering a different type of hazard in practical terms. EN ISO 13982-1 (Type 5) certifies it as particle-tight, keeping out fine dry particles, while EN 13034 (Type 6) confirms limited protection against light liquid splashes. EN 14126 verifies resistance to blood and viruses, making the Karow suitable for settings with biological risks as well. Certification to EN 1149-5 further confirms antistatic properties, relevant wherever electrostatic discharge needs to be avoided.
