The Blumenthal protective coverall is a disposable chemical protection suit designed for situations where contact with liquids, sprays, particles or biological hazards must be reliably prevented. As category 3 PPE, it is aimed at professional users in industry, trades and hazardous material handling who need certified full-body protection rather than basic disposable workwear.
The outer material is a multi-layer polymer with a microporous PE laminate that combines low weight with high strength and strong chemical resistance. The seams are heat-sealed and offer the same level of protection as the fabric itself, so the suit has no weak points along its construction. The ergonomic cut, three-piece hood with elastic, and elasticated arms, legs and waist ensure a secure fit during movement, while thumb loops keep the sleeves from riding up. The front zip with a double self-adhesive flap closes easily while maintaining a tight seal.
The suit's range of certifications reflects how broadly it can be used: it is liquid-tight to EN 14605 Type 3, spray-tight to Type 4, particle-tight to EN ISO 13982-1 Type 5, and offers limited splash protection to EN 13034 Type 6. It also protects against radioactive particle contamination under EN 1073-2, is blood- and virus-tight to EN 14126, and thanks to its antistatic finish meets EN 1149-5, making it suitable for use in areas with explosion risk. Together these standards cover a wide spectrum of chemical and biological hazards.
Being lint-free, silicone-free and individually packed, the Blumenthal coverall is well suited to cleanroom work, asbestos remediation, hazardous material incidents, decontamination tasks, and use in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Supplied in packs of 20, it suits regular operational demand.
