The Nitras STEEL CUT D is a cut-resistant glove designed for anyone who needs reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. It suits users handling small parts or sharp-edged materials, where a fine sense of touch matters just as much as safety.
The glove is knitted from a special yarn combining HPPE, polyester, glass fibre and elastane, giving it durability while the knitted cuff ensures a secure fit around the wrist. A PU coating on the palm and fingertips provides grip without restricting movement, and the three-layer palm reinforcement, including the fingers, adds robustness for daily use. Despite this reinforcement, wearing comfort remains high, which is noticeable during longer work sessions.
Classified as PPE category II, the STEEL CUT D offers high cut resistance along with puncture protection against needles, meaning it guards against accidental piercing by sharp, thin objects. This makes it a dependable choice wherever sharp edges and fine assembly work come together, such as in metal and electronics manufacturing, small-parts assembly, or settings where needles or similarly pointed objects are handled.
