The GREEN BARRIER CUT D by Nitras is a chemical-resistant glove built for work where cut protection, grip and fine motor control all matter at once. At 33 cm long, it covers the forearm as well as the hand, making it a solid choice for tasks where wrists are exposed without sacrificing dexterity.
The special yarn blend of HPPE, polyester, glass fibre, polyamide and elastane gives the glove a sturdy yet flexible base. Its double coating, a fully coated nitrile underlayer combined with a sanded nitrile top layer on the palm and fingertips, results in a glove roughly 1.9 mm thick that holds up well to abrasion without feeling bulky. In daily use this translates into a confident grip in both dry and oily conditions, with strong slip resistance even when handling small or smooth parts.
The high cut resistance makes this glove dependable wherever sharp edges or blades are part of the job, while its resistance to contact heat up to 100°C for 15 seconds adds a further layer of protection during brief contact with hot surfaces. Because it also guards against microorganisms and bacteria and is approved for food contact, it works just as well in hygiene-sensitive settings. Its classification under PSA risk category III reflects that this is protective equipment designed for serious hazards.
This makes the GREEN BARRIER CUT D well suited to metalworking, food production or assembly work involving small parts, wherever cutting risk, oil and heat come together on the job. Supplied in pairs in a poly bag, it's also a practical choice for bulk procurement.
