The ARES CUT E from Nitras' ARES CUT line is a cut-resistant glove designed for work where sharp edges and blades are a daily hazard. It suits tradespeople and industrial workers who need a durable glove that still allows enough dexterity for finer tasks.
The back of the hand is made from natural-coloured cotton, while the palm is crafted from grey full-grain cowhide from leather selection A, a premium grade known for its suppleness and durability. Inside, a lining made from special KATA 5 yarn adds to wearing comfort, and the thumb and index finger are fully lined, making the glove comfortable even during extended use. The canvas cuff offers extra protection at the wrist, and the Kevlar double stitching keeps the seams from tearing under strain. The generous cut ensures a precise fit without restricting movement.
The ARES CUT E delivers a high level of cut resistance and also protects against contact heat up to 100°C for 15 seconds, making it suitable for tasks that involve brief contact with hot surfaces. As personal protective equipment, the glove falls under PSA risk category II, intended for medium-level hazards.
This makes the glove well suited to metalworking, assembly, glass processing, and other tasks where sharp-edged materials and occasional contact with warm surfaces are part of the daily routine.
