The Blåkläder Pile Jacket is a cosy, warm fleece jacket with a classic Blåkläder cut that works just as well as a standalone sweater as it does as a warming layer under a work jacket. It suits anyone working outdoors or in unheated spaces during cold weather, including tradespeople, gardeners, drivers, installers, sheet metal workers, mechanics and warehouse staff who value warmth and freedom of movement above all.
The jacket is made from 100% polyester fleece weighing 350 g/m², which feels immediately soft and cosy against the skin while still holding in a good amount of warmth. The high collar sits snugly around the neck, the extended back keeps cold drafts away from the lower back, and the elasticated hem along with the extended cuffs with thumb holes lock the warmth in exactly where it's needed. Inside pockets and zipped side pockets provide storage without having to open the sturdy plastic zip fastener, while the wind flap with fleece lining on the inside keeps draughts out.
The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances and is gentle on the skin, a real benefit for anyone wearing the jacket directly against the skin or as a mid-layer through a full working day.
