The Blåkläder Pile Jacket is a warming classic for anyone who refuses to compromise on comfort, whether at work or in their free time. From building sites to gardens, from driving seats to workshops, tradespeople, installers, mechanics and warehouse staff reach for this jacket whenever warmth is the priority without adding bulk. Thanks to its dual function, it works just as well as a warm layer under a protective jacket as it does as a standalone piece. The men's model is also available as the women's version 4727.
Made from 100% polyester pile with a weight of 350 g/m², the jacket delivers a noticeably warm, soft feel that makes itself felt during long days outdoors or in cooler indoor spaces. The pile fabric keeps you warm without feeling heavy, making it a practical choice for extended wear. Inside, the wind flap is lined with fleece, and combined with the elastic band at the hem and the extended cuffs with thumb holes, it keeps cold draughts out effectively. The extended back adds further protection against cold air reaching the lower back, useful when bending or working overhead. The plastic zip remains easy to operate even with work gloves on, while the zippered chest and side pockets offer secure storage for small items.
The fixed hood provides extra protection against wind and weather without needing a separate garment. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the fabric has also been tested for harmful substances, a reassuring detail for a garment worn close to the skin.
