The Blaklader Microfleece jacket is built for anyone who needs a light but warming layer under or over their workwear when temperatures drop. Whether you work as a tradesman, bricklayer, electrician, roofer or warehouse worker, the jacket serves as a flexible mid-layer and pairs just as well with a softshell or shell jacket as it does on its own.
The fabric is a 100% polyester microfleece at 170 g/m², double-brushed and treated against pilling so the surface stays smooth and doesn't mat even with regular wear. Stretch panels at the sides and sleeves give freedom of movement for overhead work or bending, without compromising the fit. The extended back keeps the lower back covered when you bend forward, and a zip in the lining lets you customise the jacket's profile.
Two zipped front pockets plus two inner pockets provide room for small tools, a phone or other essentials, while an inner wind flap at the zip adds extra protection against draughts. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the fabric has been tested for harmful substances, which matters for a garment worn close to the skin.
Thanks to its balance of warmth, low weight and flexibility, the jacket suits a wide range of trades, from painters and floor layers to plumbers and concrete workers, as well as drivers and cleaning staff, wherever wind, wet weather and cold make the working day harder.
