These bib overalls from Blaklader are built for painters, bricklayers and tilers who need a hardwearing yet comfortable work trouser. The classic cut with wide braces, an adjustable waist and quick-release buckles gives a fit that stays comfortable through long shifts, while practical details such as the hammer loop, the removable ID pocket and the generous pocket layout make it a dependable companion on site.
The fabric is a 100% cotton twill weighing 320 g/m², woven in two layers. This construction lets the fabric absorb paint rather than letting it soak through, so the wearer stays dry and clean even during heavy-duty painting work. The seat pocket and the rule and knee pockets are reinforced with Cordura, adding extra resistance to abrasion in the areas that take the most wear, and the triple-stitched inside leg seam adds further durability through repeated movement.
The overalls protect against paint splashes right up to the body and carry Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, confirming the fabric has been tested for harmful substances. Combined with the matching knee pads, the trousers also meet EN 14404-3, the standard covering knee protection for kneeling work – a useful point for anyone who spends a lot of time on their knees, such as when laying tiles or flooring.
