The Orrusti bib overalls from Feldtmann are built for workers who face more than one hazard at once: welding sparks, electrostatic build-up, arc flash and splashes of hazardous chemicals. As multi-norm protective clothing, they combine cover for all these risks in a single garment, clearly marked from the outside by the multi-norm emblem on the left leg. That makes them a practical choice for workplaces where employees move between different hazard zones without needing to change protective clothing.
The outer fabric, 98% cotton and 2% carbon at 350 g/m², is designed to resist abrasion and tearing, so it holds up well under demanding conditions and frequent wear. The THPC coating stays effective through 50 washes, with no re-impregnation needed, which noticeably cuts down on maintenance effort in daily operations. Heat-resistant press studs and buckles, along with the part-elastic waistband, keep the overalls comfortable and flexible to move in even when worn with additional protective gear.
The overalls meet several protection standards at once: EN ISO 11612 confirms flame and heat protection, while EN ISO 11611 Class 2 qualifies them for welding work, including in confined spaces and hazardous techniques. Antistatic properties under EN 1149-5 prevent dangerous static build-up, EN 61482-2 APC 1 protects against the thermal effects of an electric arc, and EN 13034 Type PB provides protection against liquid chemicals. They also meet the general requirements for protective clothing under EN ISO 13688.
Reflective piping improves visibility, knee pockets allow knee pads to be inserted when needed, and the bib pocket, hip pockets, rear pockets and ruler pocket provide ample storage for tools and small items. This makes the overalls a solid option for welders, electricians and anyone working in industrial settings exposed to multiple hazards at once. They are supplied in packs of 5, making it easier to equip entire teams.
