The Palni multi-norm work jacket is built for workers facing several hazards at the same job site at once: heat, open flame, electrostatic charge, electric arc and liquid chemicals. The multi-norm emblem visible on the left upper arm marks it clearly as certified protective wear rather than ordinary workwear.
The outer fabric is 98% cotton with a 2% carbon content at a substantial 350 g/m², giving the jacket a noticeably tough, abrasion- and tear-resistant feel. Its THPC coating keeps the flame-retardant performance intact through 50 washes without requiring re-impregnation, a real advantage for workplaces with frequent laundering cycles. Concealed buttons prevent scratching on sensitive surfaces, heat-resistant press studs hold up under thermal stress, and back pleats plus an elasticated hem allow free movement on the job.
The jacket meets several protection standards at once: EN ISO 11612 confirms protection against heat and flame, while EN ISO 11611 Class 2 qualifies it for welding in confined spaces and hazardous welding techniques. EN 1149-5 covers antistatic properties, EN 61482-2 APC 1 addresses protection against the thermal effects of an electric arc, and EN 13034 Type PB provides protection against contact with liquid chemicals. Reflective piping further improves the wearer's visibility.
This makes the Palni a strong choice for welders, electricians and workers in the chemical industry, as well as anywhere multiple hazards can occur together. Four pocket with flaps and press studs, two on the chest and two at the hip, offer practical storage for daily use. The jacket comes in sizes S to 3XL and is supplied in packs of 5, making it a practical option for outfitting entire teams.
