The Eetu multinorm parka is protective workwear for anyone exposed to several hazards at once on the job: harsh weather, heat and flames, electrostatic risks and chemical splashes. It is built for professionals in industry, electrical work and energy supply who need one jacket to cover multiple risk areas instead of switching gear between tasks. The multinorm emblem on the left upper arm makes its protective function instantly recognisable from the outside.
The multi-layer outer fabric, made from polyester with a carbon content, is robust, abrasion- and tear-resistant, which makes the jacket dependable for demanding daily use. The inner layer of modacrylic and cotton keeps it comfortable against the skin, while welded seams maintain wind and water resistance without compromising breathability. With a water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h, the wearer stays dry during prolonged rain without overheating underneath. Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fasteners, a width-adjustable hem and a stowable, lined hood let the fit be tailored to weather conditions and body shape.
The range of standards covers a wide spectrum of hazards: EN ISO 11611 and EN ISO 11612 confirm protection against flames and thermal risks for welding and similar environments, EN 61482-2 APC1 protects against the thermal effects of an electric arc, and EN 1149-5 provides antistatic properties. EN 13034 Type 6 protects against splashes of liquid chemicals, EN 343 stands for protection against wind and rain, and EN 17353 Type B3, combined with LOXY® reflective material, improves visibility at dusk and in the dark. Numerous pockets, including a chest zip pocket, breast pockets, hip pockets and inner pockets, provide ample storage for tools and personal items, and the jacket can be combined into a system with the separately available inner jacket (item no. 23476).
