The Porsi work trousers are built for professionals facing more than one hazard on the job, from welding to arc-flash risk to contact with chemicals. As a multi-norm garment, it covers several protection categories in a single piece of clothing, saving the need for multiple specialised trousers. Multi-norm emblems on the left leg show at a glance which standards are met.
The outer fabric is made from 98% cotton with a 2% carbon content, weighing in at 350 g/m², a sturdy, abrasion- and tear-resistant material that holds up well during welding work or demanding site conditions. The THPC coating withstands 50 washes without needing re-impregnation, which keeps day-to-day maintenance low. Heat-resistant press studs, a part-elastic waistband for better freedom of movement, and knee pockets for optional knee pads add to the practical construction.
On the protection side, the trousers cover a lot of ground: EN ISO 11612 provides flame-retardant properties and protection against several forms of heat, while EN ISO 11611 Class 2 makes them suitable for welding, including in confined spaces and hazardous techniques. EN 1149-5 delivers antistatic properties, EN 61482-2 Class 1 protects against the thermal effects of an electric arc, and EN 13034 Type PB gives limited protection against liquid chemicals. EN ISO 13688 confirms the general requirements for protective clothing.
With two hip pockets, two rear pockets with flap and press stud, and a dedicated ruler pocket, the Porsi offers plenty of room for tools and small items, while reflective piping adds extra visibility. This makes it a strong choice for welders, electricians and other industrial professionals who need several protective functions built into one workwear item.
