The NITRAS SAFE is an American-style safety welding glove designed for anyone who needs dependable protection and a long gauntlet during welding work. At 35 cm in length, it extends well beyond the wrist to shield the forearm from sparks and heat as well, making it a solid choice for tasks where the glove has to hold up under sustained strain.
Made from sturdy grey split leather, the glove is fully lined on the inside. This adds a noticeable level of comfort during longer shifts and helps offset the natural stiffness of the leather. Split leather is known for its durability and resistance to wear, while the surface still offers a good grip, which comes in handy when handling tools or workpieces securely.
The glove protects against contact heat up to 100°C for 15 seconds and falls under PPE risk category II, meaning it is built for tasks involving a moderate level of risk. In practical terms, this means brief contact with hot surfaces or sparks is absorbed without immediately putting the hand at risk, a common scenario in welding environments.
