The Lyon Hi-Vis Contrast Trousers from the Portwest Texo range are built for anyone who needs to stay visible on the job without giving up practical features. With nine pockets, including a phone pocket, pen pocket, double rule pocket and cargo pockets on the leg, they offer plenty of room for tools and small items, keeping everything within easy reach.
The fabric is a hardwearing polycotton with Texpel™ finishing that repels dirt and water, so the trousers stay cleaner and ready for work even in demanding conditions. Double stitching adds extra durability at high-wear points, while the adjustable hook-and-loop fastening at the hem and the elasticated back waist give a secure, comfortable fit that can be adjusted to the individual. The knee pad pockets, accessed from below, allow knee pads to be inserted for tasks that involve kneeling or crouching.
Reflective tape improves visibility on site, and the fabric is certified to EN ISO ISO 20471 after 50 wash cycles, meaning the hi-vis performance holds up even with regular use. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, a useful benefit for outdoor work. In orange, the trousers additionally meet RIS-3279-TOM requirements for the rail industry.
