The S598 hi-vis winter trousers are built for anyone working outdoors through cold, wet and low-light conditions who needs to stay visible and comfortable all day. They combine warning protection with genuine winter performance, making them a serious step up from a standard hi-vis trouser for use on site in road works, groundworks or winter maintenance.
The fabric is waterproof and the seams are taped, so water cannot get in through the stitching. A water-repellent finish on top of that makes water bead off the surface rather than soaking in, keeping the trousers drier and lighter even in sustained rain. The quilted lining holds in warmth without restricting movement, and the fully elasticated waistband keeps the fit comfortable even over thicker base layers. A side leg zip makes it far easier to put the trousers on and off over safety boots, while two side pass-through pockets give quick access to clothing worn underneath.
Visibility comes from the fluorescent fabric and reflective stripes, which pick up light and make the wearer stand out at dusk and in the dark. The trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471, and specifically after 50 wash cycles, so the visibility performance holds up over the working life of the garment rather than fading after repeated laundering.
