The Hi-Vis Bahn work trousers RT46 are built for anyone working on rail infrastructure or on sites with strict visibility requirements, without giving up practical everyday features. Ten pockets, including leg cargo pockets, a ruler pocket, a phone pocket and a D-ring for keys or ID, provide generous storage for tools and personal items. The reflective band sits higher than on standard trousers, giving an extra boost to visibility on site.
The trousers are made from a hard-wearing polycotton fabric finished with Texpel™ Stain Eco, a coating that repels both dirt and water, keeping the fabric cleaner for longer even in dusty or wet conditions. Triple-stitched seams and reinforcement at all stress points add up to a long service life, while the part-elasticated waistband keeps the fit comfortable and secure through a full shift. Knee pad pockets with a bottom insert also allow knee protectors to be added for kneeling work.
Certified to EN ISO 20471 after 50 washes, the trousers keep their high-visibility performance even after repeated laundering and heavy use. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, which matters for anyone spending long hours outdoors. In orange, the trousers additionally meet RIS 3279-TOM, the railway industry standard, and are CE certified and UKCA marked.
This makes the RT46 a strong choice for track workers and rail maintenance crews, as well as anyone else who needs hi-vis workwear certified to EN ISO 20471. Available in sizes XS to 4XL, plus a tall fit for extra leg length.
