The B1004 from the Kaptiv collection is a safety shoe built for anyone who needs dependable foot protection on the job without sacrificing comfort. With separate fits for men and women plus an orthopaedic footbed developed to European standards in line with DGUV 112-191, it adapts to individual foot shapes rather than forcing a compromise. It comes in four colour options and a wide size range from 36 to 48.
Its features are clearly geared towards construction and industrial work: a toe cap withstands impacts of up to 200 joules, the sole resists penetration up to 3 mm, and the shoe stays heat-resistant for one minute even in brief contact with surfaces up to 300°C. Shock absorption in the ankle area cushions the impact of walking and stepping, while the antistatic build dissipates electrical charge and the shoe also resists hydrocarbons.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 +A1:2024 in class S1PS, the B1004 meets the core requirements expected of safety footwear for professional use: protected toes, a puncture-resistant sole, and slip-resistant performance thanks to a ceramic and glycerine sole that, per its SR rating, delivers secure grip on smooth and oily floors alike.
