The Berlin S1PS from the Run@Work collection is a modern safety shoe for anyone who wants sneaker-like comfort without compromising on protection. Instead of a heavy steel toe, it features the slim SlimCap toe cap, just 6.5 mm thick, making it lighter and more comfortable than traditional metal caps while staying completely metal-free.
The upper is made from technical fabric, and the SmellStop lining inside prevents the growth of odour-causing microorganisms, a real benefit during long shifts. The Fresh'n Flex Plus Super Light insole is ultra-light and puncture-resistant, while the AirTech+Tpu-Skin anti-fatigue sole has a slimmer profile that delivers extra flexibility and lasting cushioning. The HIFLAP technology, with its two independently moving flaps, supports natural movement and keeps the foot stable in every position.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 as S1PS with the additional markings ESD, LG, SC, FO and SR, the shoe includes a toe cap rated to withstand 200 joules of impact, a 3 mm puncture-resistant midsole, and heel shock absorption. The ESD feature protects sensitive electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge, the SR rating ensures slip resistance on ceramic tile with glycerine, and LG provides secure grip on ladder rungs.
This makes the Berlin S1PS a strong choice for jobs involving heavy impact risks and varied surfaces, such as logistics, skilled trades and industrial settings where safety, slip resistance and ESD protection all matter.
