The B0886 from the Classic Plus collection is a safety shoe built for workplaces where electrostatic discharge poses a risk, such as electronics manufacturing or ESD-controlled areas. It is non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron, and it channels electrical charge away in a controlled manner to keep sensitive equipment and components safe. Available in men's and women's width fittings, the shoe accommodates different foot shapes, complemented by an orthopaedic, custom-made footbed compliant with DGUV 112-191 for lasting comfort through long shifts.
The build is designed to withstand demanding daily use: the toe cap resists impacts of up to 200 joules, the sole is puncture-resistant at 3 mm thick and stays resistant to hydrocarbons. Heel-area shock absorption cushions every step, while the ceramic and glycerine sole compound delivers reliable grip on slippery or oily surfaces as well as on ladder rungs.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 +A1:2024 in the S1PS category with the additional markings SC, LG, FO, SR and ESD, the B0886 covers a wide range of protection needs, from toe protection to puncture-resistant, slip-resistant soles and electrostatic dissipation. The standards CEI EN 61340-5-1, CEI EN 61340-4-3 and CEI EN 61340-4-5 further confirm its suitability for ESD environments where electronic devices must be shielded from electrostatic discharge.
