The B0617 from the Record collection is a safety shoe built for anyone working around sensitive electronics or in electrostatically controlled areas. Made from non-magnetic, nickel- and iron-free materials, it is designed for environments where electronic equipment must be protected from electrostatic discharge, such as electronics assembly lines or ESD-controlled zones. Available in both men's and women's width fittings, it also features an orthopaedic, custom-moulded footbed for all-day wearing comfort.
The toe cap withstands an impact of 200 joules, the 3 mm anti-perforation midsole guards against sharp objects underfoot, and heel-area shock absorption cushions the impact of each step. The sole is also resistant to hydrocarbons, holding up well against oils and fuels, and its SR slip resistance has been specifically tested on ceramic tile and glycerine-coated surfaces, a detail that matters in workshops and industrial halls with mixed or slippery flooring.
Certification to EN ISO 20345:2022 with the S1PS, FO, SR and ESD markings confirms exactly these properties: anti-perforation base protection, fuel resistance, slip-resistant soling and antistatic performance. In addition, the ESD features meet CEI EN 61340-5-1, CEI EN 61340-4-3 and CEI EN 61340-4-5, while the footbed complies with DGUV 112-191. In practical terms, this adds up to a shoe that safely dissipates static charge without compromising support or comfort.
