The Berlin S1PS ESD is a safety shoe from the Run@Work collection, designed for anyone who needs a light, comfortable companion through long working days. Instead of a traditional metal toe cap, it features the SlimCap toe cap at just 6.5 mm thick, which feels noticeably lighter and more comfortable without compromising on protection.
The upper in technical fabric adapts well to the shape of the foot, while the SmellStop lining works as an odour-control and antibacterial layer, preventing the growth of microorganisms responsible for bad smells and fungal infections. The Fresh'n Flex Plus Super Light insole is ultra-light yet high-performing, and the AirTech+Tpu-Skin anti-fatigue sole has a slimmer profile that delivers lasting cushioning and greater flexibility – in practice, that means less fatigue even after many hours on your feet. The HIFLAP technology, with two independently working flaps, further supports freedom of movement and keeps the shoe stable in every position.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 as S1PS with the additional markings ESD, LG, FO and SR, the shoe offers a 3 mm puncture-resistant midsole, protection against electrostatic discharge, resistance to hydrocarbons, and a slip-resistant rubber outsole that maintains grip even on ceramic and glycerine-covered surfaces. The toe cap withstands an impact of 200 joules, and thanks to its ladder grip and antistatic properties, this shoe is particularly suited to working environments involving electronic equipment or demanding slip-resistance requirements.
